Mrs. Vivian Andrews Helton, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Andrews, was born Oct. 3, 1929, and departed this life May 17, 1938, at the age of 17 years, 8 months and 14 days of age. She was fatally injured in an automobile accident Sunday, May 15. Vivian was a graduate of the Louisburg High School in the class of 1938 …
She has had a short and happy married life. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Helton, her father and mother, and one brother, Warren Dale, 3 years of age. She was preceded in death by one sister, Calista, and one brother, Leslie James.
Funeral services were held at the Buffalo Christian Church Friday May 20. Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Jemima E. Jump was born June 23, 1859 near Pittsburg, in Hickory County, Mo., and departed this life March 17, 1938 at her home near Sentinel, Polk County, Mo., where she had resided for more than half a century.
She was the daughter of John and Sarah jump and was one of a family of twelve children, nine girls and three boys.
She was united in marriage to John Rentfrow Oct. 1876. To this union 4 children were born; one son, Oliver Lee, died in infancy. The other surviving children are: Mrs. Sadie West, Walsh, Colo., John W. Rentfrow, of Bolivar, Mo., and Jim R. Rentfrow, of Borger, Texas (twins).
Mr. Rentfrow preceded her in death several years ago. She was again married to Mr. Smeltzer, later to Mr. Richardson, then later to Mr. Matlock, who survives her.
William Lavander Moulder, one of the oldest citizens of Camden County, died suddenly Monday nite May 16, and was laid to rest in the Roach Cemetery Thursday, May 10 with Masonic honors.
Mr. Moulder was born in Camden County Sept. 18, 1957 (sic), and was a little over 80 years of age at the time of his death.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Granville Moulder. He was united in marriage to Sarah Jane Cyrus March 1, 1883. To this union was born 8 children, the widow and 6 children surviving him. The living children are: Roscoe, of Kansas City; Elbert of Red Top; Claude, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Lillie Campbell of Windsor; and Odessa McFarland of Kansas City.
A heart attack caused the death Sunday, May 22, 1938 of Mrs. Madeline Ormsbee, 36, at her home in Springfield, Mo. Mrs. Ormsbee was a former president of the American Legion auxiliary, the wife of Clyde H. Ormsbee, former commander of Goad-Ballinger Legion post in Springfield,
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter Betty Lee; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Gammon of Louisburg; a brother, Dr. Claude O. Gammon of Buffalo; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Franchier of Nardin, Oklahoma, and Mrs. L. Doolin Gorman, of Springfield.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Herman Lohmeyer funeral chapel with burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. (this funeral home and cemetery are in Springfield, MO)

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tucker, of Treece, Kansas are spending a few days with his brother, W. M. Tucker and family. Both families plan to spend Wednesday with their sister, Mrs. A. Guthrie at Morrisville, Mo.
John Viles fell Wednesday and broke his arm and leg in several places. He was taken to the hospital in Humansville, He died on Thursday. Funeral services were conducted at Schofield Sunday by Rev. Clarence Salsman.
Mrs. Clarence Lilly and children spent Wednesday nite with her daughter, Maxine Nicodemus.

Sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Wayne Helton, who died St. John's Hospital in Springfield last Tuesday morning.

Cal Jones and wife, of Nebraska, and Mrs. Mary Brown, of Arizona, arrived early Sunday morning to be at the bedside of their father, Rev. A. J. Johns, who succumbed Monday at 12:15 a.m. after a week's illness. We extend sympathy to Mrs. Jones and Thelma.

Tom tucker of Picher, Oklahoma was in our office Monday. Tom is a former citizen of Dallas County, but has been way for several years. Miss Eloise Calloway returned to her home last Saturday. She has been teaching in the Ironton, Mo., High School the past year.

Announcement is made of the marriage of Mrs. Vinnie Deer and S. L. Folgeman, Parsons. May 14, at Erie by the Rev. L. C. Swan. Mrs. Fogleman who is a sister of Mrs. L. D. Farran, owned and operated the Deer hotel at Buffalo for 15 years. Mr. Fogelman is a retired school teacher, farmer and rural mail carrier in this vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Fogleman are planning a honeymoon in Alaska. They now are at home to their friends at 1726 Appleton.

Miss Marie Jones and Mr. Ralph R. Omans, both of Springfield, were united in marriage at the Baptist parsonage Saturday noon, May 21. Rev. E. H. Michalwoksy read the ring ceremony. After a honeymoon trip on the Lake of the Ozarks, they will make their home in Springfield where the groom has employment.
A large crowd of friends and relatives gathered in the John Bailey home Tuesday evening May 18 and set a nice supper in honor of Ray Scrivener and family, Billy Stickley and family and Cecil Furgeson who left Wednesday morning May 19 for Washington.
Last Sunday Wayne Owensby was honored on his birthday with a fine dinner set at Bennetts Spring State Park
