| Text | Herta V. Zirtaut, 88, of Shell Knob, died at 9:30 p.m. September 22 at her home following a long illness. Mrs. Zirtaut was born July 23, 1911, in Lithuania, the daughter of Joseph and Helen Reinhardt. She attended nursing school in Chicago, Illinois, where she received her degree as a licensed practical nurse. She moved to Shell Knob in 1995 where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Shell Knob. She married Peter P. Zirtaut on September 9, 1940, in Lithuania, and he preceded her in death May 12, 1998. Survivors include one daughter, of Shell Knob; one grandchild, of Nixa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Services were 11 a.m. today, September 27, at Williamson Chapel in Shell Knob with Father David Miller officiating. Burial was in Painter Cemetery in Shell Knob under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Shell Knob. |
