| Text | William H. Zellers, 91, of Cassville, died at 5:13 p.m. October 21 at South Barry County Hospital in Cassville following a long illness. Mr. Zellers was born February 16, 1908, in Purdy, the son of William and Sussie (Plummer) Zellers. He was a lifelong resident of the Cassville and Purdy areas, a farmer, a member of the Gunter Methodist Church in Butterfield, and had been employed at George Ray Sons Feed Store. He married Dessie Terry in November of 1936 in Neosho, and she preceded him in death July 25, 1969. Survivors include two sons, of Cassville and of Purdy; one daughter, of Harveyville, Kansas; one brother, of Billings; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside services were 1 p.m. October 23 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield with Rev. Jerry Nickle officiating under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. |
