| Text | Ozell Elizabeth (Garrison) Young, 82, of Osage Beach, formerly of Wheaton, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 in Ozark Care Center in Osage Beach. Mrs. Young was born Jan. 21, 1920, in Wheaton, the daughter of Orvill and Ada (Santee) Garrison. On Sept. 21, 1941, she was united in marriage to John Young. He preceded her in death in Sept 1964. Ozell received her education at Wheaton. She resided for several years in Washington and Oregon before moving back to Missouri in 1954. She was baptized a Jehovah’s Witness. Survivors include: Two daughters, five brothers, two sisters, one grandson, two granddaughters and two great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Anna Mae Young; one son Alan Young; and three brothers, Dewayne, Ralph and James Garrison. Services were held Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton, Carl Stoops officiated. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter. |
