Front Page of Paper - POST MORTEN HELD AFTER QUICK DEATH OF FINE YOUNG LADY

Miss Ruth Yarnall Passes Away Following Short Illness Thursday At Home Of Her Parents .A post-mortem examination was held over the body of 14-year-old Ruth Yarnall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Yarnall, at the Koon Funeral Home, here last Thursday, following her sudden death that morning. This splendid young lady became ill just a few days previous to her passing and it was thought she was a victim of sleeping sickness but the post mortem revealed that her death was to due to tubercular meningitis. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Chas Vanzandt. Miss Ruth was apparently enjoying good health until just a few days previous to her passing when she fell and her condition puzzled the splendid medical aid that was summoned to her bedside. The post mortem was held by Dr. George Newman of Cassville, Dr. Poor of Wheaton, and Dr. Mitchell of Monett. The Democrat extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
