Obit For Ralph Amos Worrall

Text Ralph Amos Worrall, 86, of Shell Knob, died at 1:10 p.m. April 23 at Carroll Regional Medical Center in Berryville, Arkansas, following a long illness.

Mr. Worrall was born September 11, 1912, in Scranton, Kansas, the son of Frank and Ellen Jasperson Worrall. He worked for Southwest Bell Telephone for 38 years before retiring in 1973. He was a member of the Central Community United Methodist Church in Shell Knob, the Telephone Pioneers, the Bestor G. Brown 433 AF&AM Masonic Lodge, and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was a member of the Midian Temple AAONMS in Wichita, Kansas, Abou Ben Adhem Temple in Springfield, and the Shell Knob Shrine Club.

He married Helen Gregorcyk on February 25, 1939, in Wichita, Kansas, and she survives.

Additional survivors include two sisters, Frances Ritchie of Shelby, Michigan, and Esther Shafer of Anchorage, Alaska. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be 11 a.m. tomorrow, April 28, at Williamson Chapel in Shell Knob with Rev. Judith Breiner officiating. Burial will be Thursday, April 29, at Mission Chapel Mausoleum in Wichita, Kansas, under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Shell Knob.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, April 27, at the funeral home with Masonic services to follow. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
