Little Edna Nadine Woodward, daughter of James and Vesta Woodward was born near Rocky Comfort, Mo., October 18, 1919. Died April 20, 1924, age 4 years, 6 months and 2 days. She leaves a father and mother, one baby sister and a half brother, besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her departure. Nadine was sick only a few days of appendicitis. She was taken to the hospital at Stella for an operation Saturday, April 19, living only a few short hours after the operation was performed. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Rocky Comfort by Pastor C. M. Smith. |
