Text | #1. Lloyd Don Wooden, 78, of Monett, died yesterday, March 30, at Cox Monett Hospital. Mr. Wooden was born August 13, 1927. He married Janell Wooden on June 1, 1959. Survivors include two sons, two daughters, one sister, and five grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett with Rev. Jimmie Copley officiating under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, April 1, at the funeral home. #2. Services for Lloyd Don Wooden, 78, of Monett, who died March 30, were held at 2 p.m. yesterday, April 2, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett with Rev. Ronnie Howerton and Rev. Russ Neill officiating. Music was provided by Linda Fulp, Beverly Bransetter, and the Pryor family who sang Come Morning and Won't Have To Worry Anymore. Casketbearers were Bill Durant, Carl Freize, George King, Lawrence Ridenour, Ken Terry, and Charles Wallace. Burial was in Purdy Cemetery under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Military graveside rites were conducted by members of Hobbs-Anderson Post 91 Monett American Legion under the command of Carl Cunningham. Riflemen were Robbie Zang, Rick Rice, John Boucher, Cecil Mahurin, Tom Adams, and Bill Modglin. Color guard was Sinclair Rogers. Bugler was Tom Pinkley. Flag folders were Wilmer Bray and Jack McCaffrey. |
