Mabel Woodard Mabel A. Woodard, 87, of Washburn, died September 24 at her home. Mrs. Woodard was born May 5, 1912, in Oklahoma, the daughter of Bert and Maude (Dalton) Cordle. She received her education at Measle Prairie School, was a longtime resident of the Washburn area, a homemaker, and a Baptist. She married John Amel Woodard on November 5, 1946. Services were 10 a.m. today, September 27, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville. Burial was in Roller Cemetery in Washburn under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Research Note: She was buried at Roller, west of Washburn, near the McDonald County and Barry line. |
