| Text | Abstract - Lucille R “Lucy” Woodall, age 85, Joplin, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2006 in a local nursing center. Mrs. Woodall was born Oct. 19, 1920 in Purdy, Missouri, to the late William H. Robison and Dorothy (Cooper) Robison and had lived in Joplin most of her life. She worked in the classified ad department at the Joplin Globe for several years retiring in 1978. She married Everett P. “Chief” Woodall on Jan. 12, 1947 in Oswego, Kansas, He preceded her in death on June 7, 2005. Survivors include a sister, two grandsons, a sister-in-law, several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
