Headline | Former Monett Woman Dies at Kansas City |
Text | Monett, Mo., Sept. 25 - Mrs. Vivian (Counts) Willis, 26 year old former resident of Monett, died at 10 o'clock Sunday night in Kansas City, where she had lived until two years ago, when her husband was killed during army maneuvers. She had lived 18 years in Monett with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Blakesly. Surviving are her father, Horace Counts of Kansas City, five brothers, Oren Counts and Ottis Counts in Germany, Horace Counts, Jr., of Fort Leonard Wood, Haskil Counts of Monett and Ted Counts of Purdy, and a sister, Fay Counts. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Purdy Christian Church. Burial will be in Purdy Cemetery. |
