Text | Almon Monroe Williams, 84, of Cassville, died May 15 at his son's home in Springfield. Mr. Williams was born July 1, 1914, in Aurora, the son of J. Frank and Matie Millie (Shipman) Williams. He received his education in Aurora and at Monett Junior College. He was a lifetime resident of this area, a cattleman and dairy farmer, and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Springfield. He married Maxine Holman on August 5, 1940, in Berryville, Arkansas. Additional survivors include one son, three daughters, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services were 2 p.m. today, May 17, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Gary Stratman officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
