| Text | Mrs. Mahala E. Williams, 80, Exeter, died at 5:10 a. m. Wednesday, May 20 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Monett, where she had been a patient four days, following a long illness. She was born October 20, 1899 at Exeter and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of the Antioch Church, northwest of Cassville. Surviving are three sons, and two daughters; three brothers, Rob May, Purdy, Porter May, and Cecil May both of Exeter, a sister, Mrs. Gertie Tucker of West Covina, CA. Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at Axley's Culver Chapel, Cassville with Rev. Hugh Higgs officiating. Burial was in Antioch, northwest of Cassville. |
