Mrs. Leona Williams, wife of J. A. Williams of near Verona, passed away in the Cowan Clinic at Aurora, Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock following a short illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Methodist church at Purdy. Burial will be in the Purdy cemetery under the direction of the J. Finis King Funeral service of Aurora. The body was removed from the funeral home Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock to the home of a sister, Mrs. George Boedecker, 510 Sixth Street, Monett to remain until the hour of the funeral on Sunday. Besides the husband Mrs. Williams is survived by two sisters and three brothers. |
