Text Hattie Banks - Williams, 80, Anderson, died at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday at Freeman Neosho Hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Banks - Williams was born Mar. 18, 1915, at Washburn. She was a lifelong resident of McDonald county, and had lived in Anderson since 1975. She was a homemaker and member of Patterson Heights Baptist Church.

She married Floyd Banks on June 6, 1931. He died June 21, 1962. She married Ralph Clair in July 1963. He died in May 1977. She married Oscar Williams in Sept. 1981. He died Mar. 2, 1995.

Survivors include two sons, Fred Banks and Joe Banks of Jane, MO; eight daughters, Imogene Delmont, Clinton Ark., Virginia Akehurst, Grove, OK, Leta Miller, Ashland City, TN, Lavon O'Brien, Garland, TX, Carolyn Wilmoth, Houston, TX, and Glenda Lowe of Jane, Trudy Hill, LaPorte, TX, Debbie Land, Anderson; eight brothers, Virgil Hendrix, Harold Hendrix and Donald Hendrix, all of Seligman, Bud Hendrix, Osa Hendrix, J. D. Hendrix and Willie Hendrix, all of Washburn, and Elmer Hendrix, Wheaton; a sister, Flossie Wade, Washburn; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Anderson Ozark Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Sam Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be at Dent Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Toby Grider, Kris Banks, Steve Rose, Alan Miller, Carroll Akehurst, Ervin Banks and Michael Delmont.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ozark Funeral Home, Anderson. the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
