| Text | Mrs. R. S. Wilks died suddenly at her home in Verona, Tuesday morning. She had been in her usual health and going about her household duties. She suddenly dropped dead, her husband, Major R. S. Wilks being the only person present at the time and life was extinct when he reached the body. She was about 70 years of age and had been a resident of Lawrence County for many years. Deceased has been a member of the Christian Church for many years and was highly respected by all. Funeral Services were conducted Thursday morning at 10 O'clock and her remains laid to rest in Spring River Cemetery. Aurora Herald.
