Text | Floyd W. Wilbanks, 81, of Monett died April 8, 2009, at his home. He was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Stover, Mo., to Willard Floyd and Mary (Campbell) Wilbanks. He was an Army veteran. He owned and operated the D-X Service Station and Cafe in Seligman, Mo., for many years. He was a carpenter with Woodrow Skelton for 20 years. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in the Monett Congregation. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, of Monett; a son, of Cassville, Mo.; a grandson; a granddaughter; four great-grandsons; two brothers; three sisters. Private services were held in Seligman Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at White Funeral Home in Cassville, followed by visitation at 9 p. m. |
