Abstract Ora Leon "Dick" Wierman, age 93, of Cassville, died January 13 at Red Rose Inn in Cassville. Mr. Wierman was born August 4, 1911, in Barry County, and was a son of George and Elizabeth Truhitte Wierman. He was a livestock hauler for 35 years and a cattle farmer. He was a member of Union Chapel Church. He married Myra Ennis on December 31, 1934, in Oak Ridge. Additional survivors include two sons, two daughters, one brother, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Sydney; five brothers, three sisters, one grandchild, and one great grandchild. Services were 1 p.m. January 15 at Williamson Chapel in Cassville with Rev. John Duncan and Rev. Doyle Russell officiating. Burial was in Mineral Springs Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. |
