Abstract Faye Whittington, age 97, of Wheaton, died April 18, 2006. Mrs. Whittington was born September 30, 1908, near Purdy, and was a daughter of Clarence Orville and Lottie May (Graber) Sanders. She was a member of Southern Baptist Church in Wheaton and was a retired elementary school teacher for the Wheaton school district. She was married to Herbert Whittington, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, one brother, one sister, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, April 21, at the Southern Baptist Church in Wheaton with Rev. Richard Buck officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield under the direction of Wheaton Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today, April 20, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to ALS Society. |
