Headline | T. F. "Toog" WEBB, 100, DIES AT SELIGMAN |
Text | Rogers, Ark., Sept. 10 -- T. F. (Toog) Webb, who celebrated his 100th birthday anniversary last May, died Friday at Seligman after an illness of several days. He had suffered a stroke early this week at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mabel Gowan of Seligman. Mr. Webb was born at Pea Ridge, Ark., the son of one of the first 15 families to come here from Tennessee. Survivors, besides the daughter, include seven sons, Frank, Tolbert, Oscar, Ernest, Edward, Steve, and Hugh; 45 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist church. The Rev. Clifford Palmer and the Rev. Tim Larkin of Seligman will officiate. Burial will be in Buttram’s Chapel cemetery under direction of the Miller funeral home. |
