Text | Frank Webb, 83 years old, died at his home in Washburn Thursday morning after an extended illness.
Mr. Webb was born in Pear Ridge, Ark., on August 25, 1877, and had lived in the Washburn area since 1918. He was a farmer. Survivors include his widow, Anna Webb; two sons, Bryon Webb of Natchez, Miss., and Joe Webb of Washburn; four daughters, Mrs. Eva Chandler of Kansas City, Mrs. Carole McCafferty of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Willard Coulter of Chicago, Ill, and Mrs. Charles Coghill of Cassville; six brothers, Talbert Webb, Ernest Webb, Oscar Webb, Edd Webb and Hugh Webb, all of Pea Ridge, and Steve Webb of Tulsa; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Mitchell and Mrs. W. D. Gowen, both of Seligman, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Culver's chapel in Cassville. The Rev. Charles Vanzandt will officiate. Burial will be in Washburn Prairie cemetery under direction of Culver funeral home of Cassville. Research Note: According to the Culver Funeral Home Records Frank Webb was a son of T. F. Webb and Ada Patterson. The cause of death was senility and congestive heart failure. He was a farmer. His widow was Anna (Wardlaw) Webb, Washburn, MO. He had lived in the Washburn community since 1918 |
