Obit For Rema Armelda (Wilson) (Packwood) Weatherly

Text Again the death angel has taken a solemn walk through a home and beckoned a beloved wife and mother who answered the summons, prepared and unafraid to go.

Rema Armelda Wilson was born July 31, 1905. She was married to Walter Packwood, May 22, 1924. Unto this union was born a daughter who survives her.

She was converted and became a member of the Baptist Church in 1924. She was again united in marriage to Rolla Weatherly May 21, 1927.

She died Sept. 1, 1927 at a hospital in Springfield, Mo. Funeral services were held at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Wilson. Services were conducted by Rev. McNabb, assisted by Rev. Vanzandt.

She leaves to mourn her, a husband and daughter, a farther and mother, one sister and three brothers and a host of other relatives and friends. Pall bearers were, Mrs. Chas Young, Mrs. Chas Sallee, Mrs. Edgar Bowman, Mrs. Noar Ervin and Mrs. Will Robley. Flowers were carried by Miss Letha Harris and Miss Verga Browning. Interment was made at the Exeter Cemetery.

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled The doon his love had given,
And though the body slumbers here Her soul rests safe in Heaven.
