Text | Deceased: One of the Sweetest little mothers in the world departed this life March 6, at 12:20 p.m. Mrs. Charles Waters was 58 years old and leaves to mourn her passing seven children, her husband, one sister, five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and loving friends. Five of the children were with her during her last illness. Miss Agnes Waters of Exeter, Mrs. Leona Brattin also of Exeter, Mrs. Ella Maxedy of Bergman, Ark., Earl and Terry of Gary, Md., Earl’s wife and baby, two sons were unable to come. Louis Waters of Los Angeles, Calif., and Roscoe of Gary, Md. Mother was such a sweet, patient little woman and all who knew her loved her. She had been a true Christian and a member of the Christian church since she was twenty-four years old. She loved her children so dearly and was always so kind and thoughtful of others. We realize that we have lost our dearest friend, but God knows best and we bow in meek submission to His holy will, knowing that we can meet her over yonder on that bright eternal shore where these sad partings will never come. The funeral services were conducted at the Christian church by Bro. L. Adams after which the precious remains were laid to rest in beautiful Maplewood cemetery to await the final resurrection. Rest in peace darling mother, until we can meet you in the Savior’s home. Her sad and lonely children.
