| Headline | OBITUATY ACCIDENT CLAIMS THE LIFE OF DENNIS WARNER |
| Text | An area youth, Dennis R. Warner, 18, died Wednesday night in St. Johns Hospital in Springfield where he was taken following a one-vehicle accident at 10 p. m. Wednesday, May 24th on Highway W in Wheaton. Warner was born on November 23, 1953, at Cassville Mo., and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Wheaton High School last year and had just completed his freshman year at Crowder College. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. His mother, Mrs. Lorene Warner, of the home a brother, a half brother, and his paternal grandmother Mrs. Lucy Warner, Wheaton, survives him. Funeral services were held Saturday in the McQueen Funeral Home at Wheaton, with Rev. Raymond Cameron officiating. Burial was in the Muncie Chapel Cemetery, north of Wheaton. |
