| Text | Bernice E. Wallen, 87, of Route 3, Monett, died at 5:15 a.m. Monday, April 23, 1990, at the home of a friend, following a short illness. Miss Wallen, daughter of Ernest and Emma Wallen, was born on August 30, 1903, east of Monett. She was a homemaker and a lifelong area resident. Survivors include cousins. Graveside services were held last Wednesday at the Wallen family cemetery on the family farm. Arrangements were under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Research Note: Date of birth on headstone reads August 30, 1902. |
