Text Bernice Walden: Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Walden, 58, Branson, a former Washburn resident, who died at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, December 28, at Skaggs Community Hospital, Branson, following a long illness will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Williamson Funeral Home, Cassville.

Rev. Bob Grady will officiate. Burial will be in Washburn Prairie Cemetery.

Mrs. Walden was born October 5, 1917, at Washburn. She lived in Washburn until 1958 when she moved to Branson. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Surviving are her husband, Abe Walden, whom she married April 13, 1937, in Washburn; two sons, Larry Walden, Joplin and Gary Walden, Lee's Summit; two daughters, Mrs. Rowena Hendrix, Washburn and Mrs. Linda Robison, Jacksonville, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Chadd, Washburn, Mrs. Mae Allison, Muldrow, Oklahoma, Mrs. Dorothy Ramey, Wichita, Kansas and Mrs. Virginia McNabb, Exeter; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
