Mahala Shaw was born July 16, 1857, and departed this life Thursday, March 31, 1932 at the home of her son, George, of near Stark City. Age 80 years, 8 months and 15 days. She was united in marriage to Frank Wagoner, who preceded her in death several years. To this union one son, George W., was born. She became a member of the Baptist Church at an early age. Besides her son she is survived by her daughter-in-law, six grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the cemetery Friday afternoon, April 1, by Rev. Chas. McNabb and burial made in the Corsicana Cemetery under the direction of Belka's Funeral Home. |
