| Text | Joe Vanderpool Services for Joe L. Vanderpool, 74, Washburn, who died at 7:31 p.m. Sunday at South Barry County Hospital, Cassville, after a lengthy illness, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Culver Funeral Home of Cassville. Burial will be in Washburn Prairie Cemetery. Mr. Vanderpool was born May 24, 1900, at Washburn and had lived in this area most of his life. Survivors include his wife Zella Looney Vanderpool; three sons; two sisters; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Research Note: He married Zella Looney, daughter of Daniel David and Nellie Mae (Chadd) Looney. |
