| Headline | David Alonzo Utter Dies at Age 85 |
| Text | David Alonzo Utter, 85, died at the Miami Baptist Hospital last night at 9 pm after a long illness. He had resided in Miami for the past two years. Spending 58 years of his life in Cassville, Mo. he served two terms there as a circuit clerk for Barry Co. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include three daughters, three sons, 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Friday morning at the Lane chapel with the Rev. C. D. Walker, pastor of the Miami First Christian church officiating. A second service will be held at 2pm Friday afternoon at the Union Chapel in Butterfield, MO. Burial will be in Russell Cemetery at Butterfield under direction of the Lane Funeral Home. Research Note: Russell Cemetery - Died Dec. 8, 1943 |
