Rollie Franklin "Pete" Tucker, 83, of Cassville, died November 29 at his home.

Mr. Tucker was born July 3, 1920, near Cassville, the son of Everett and Theo (James) Tucker. He attended school at Munsey. He was a farmer and employed at Forest Products for 37 years, retiring in 1998. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4205 and Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Cassville.

He married Betty Jean Lowe on March 25, 1956, in Cassville.

Additional survivors include two sons, one daughter, one brother, one sister, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and one half-brother.

Services were 2 p.m. today, December 1, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Larry Henbest and Doyle Russell, pastor, officiating. Burial with military honors was in Horner Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville.

Memorials may be made to the church building fund.
