| Text | Abstract John Edmond Tucker, 47, Exeter route 1, died at 4:20 am Friday, June 15, 1984, at the Missouri State Chest Hospital, Mount Vernon, where he had been a patient for the past eight weeks, after a long illness. Tucker was born May 24, 1937, near Exeter. He was a retired manager of a food service company. He returned to Exeter 12 years ago. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, east of Cassville. He married Joan Charles on July 12, 1958, in Exeter. Surviving are two sons, a daughter; his parents, a brother, and a sister. Services were at 2 pm Sunday at Axley's Culver Chapel, Cassville. Bro. Paul Watson and Bro. Hugh Higgs officiated. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery. |
