| Text | Abstract Services for J. A. Tucker, 77, Cassville, who died at 10:30 pm, Tuesday, December 14, 1982, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, where he had been a patient two weeks, were at 2 pm Saturday, at Williamson Chapel, Cassville. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, north of Butterfield. Mr. Tucker was born April 27, 1905, near Exeter and had lived in Cassville since 1936. He was a retired special equipment operator for the Frisco Railroad and a member of the Mount Pleasant Methodist Church. He married Irene (Webb) Ragland on January 26, 1974, in Cassville. (first wife Cleva (Harper) Tucker preceded him in death) Other survivors include two daughters, three sons, two step sons, four step daughters, his mother, three brothers, two sisters, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren.
