Obit For Glenn Everett Tucker

Text Glenn Everett Tucker, 77, of Cassville, died yesterday, June 6, at his home.

Mr. Tucker was born October 13, 1929, in Eagle Rock, the son of Everett and Theo James Tucker. He was a 1947 graduate of Cassville High school. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He attended Michigan State Police Academy and was a highway patrolman for 36 years. He moved to Cassville four years ago.

He married Syble Dees in 1953 in Angola, Indiana, and she preceded him in death September 3, 1970.

Survivors include two daughters, one sister, two step-brothers, one step-sister, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his second wife, Nadine; his step-mother, Harriet Tucker; one brother, Rollie Tucker; one sister, Mary Shoemaker; two sisters in infancy; one step-brother, J. W. Patton; and one step-sister, Evelyn Reed.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with Doyle Russell, pastor, officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Horner Cemetery in Cassville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, June 8, at the funeral home.
