Text | Richard Ransom Tucker - March 31, 1904 - Nov. 6, 1988 Mr. Tucker was born on March 31, 1904 in Seligman, Missouri. He was self-employed as a carpenter for 20 years. He lived in Citrus Heights for 4 years. Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Gertie, of Citrus Heights, two sons, and four daughters, 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 301 West Whyte Ave, Roseville, Ca. with the Rev. Brad Gunter officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd. Roseville, Ca. Internment will be at Sylvan Cemetery in Citrus Heights. Additional Information - He was preceded in death by one daughter, Vivian Louise Tucker Allen. Since his death two other daughters, Betty Tucker Lamphear, and Bonnie Rae Tucker McAdams, and one son, Dick D. Tucker has died. Gertie May Tucker passed away in 1998. Family History Notes - He was the son of Charles K. and Nora Belle (Haddock) Tucker and the grandson of Frank and Emily (Thornton) Tucker and Richard Ransom and Sarah (Browning) Haddock. |
