Text | Wm. J. P. Trolinger, one of Barry County' excellent citizens, died Thursday
morning, March 12, 1914, at his home in the Forest Grove locality. For
several weeks he had been suffering from the growth of a tumor to which he
gradually succumbed. The deceased was born in Benton County, Ark., June 22, 1844. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Trolinger who at one time resided in Cassville. When a young man he answer the call of the county and became a member of the 46th Missouri Infantry, Company D. After his service as a veteran of the Civil War, he made his residence at Verona and Cassville. In 1904 he married Mrs. Carrie Smith who survives. He also leaves two brothers, Thomas Trolinger of Washburn Prairie and S. M. Trolinger of Cassville. Interment was made Friday afternoon in the Oak Hill Cemetery, after short funeral services conducted at the grave. |
