Obit For Jessie Towe, Jr.
Headline MILITARY HONORS FOR PFC JESSIE TOWE, JR. AT FUNEARL SUNDAY
Text Funeral services for Pfc. Jessie Towe, Jr. who was killed in action in the Korean War August 27, 1951, were held at the Culver Funeral Chapel in Cassville Sunday, afternoon at 2 p.m. with Rev. Frank Reynolds of Aurora officiating. Towe was well known in the Cassville community, was a son of Mrs. Grace Towe of the Cross Hollow community.

The body arrived in Exeter Friday night where it was met by a contingent of members from local service organizations and escorted to the Funeral home here. Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery with graveside services and military honor by the Veterans of Foreign Wars post of Jenkins. He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. C.A. Salmans of Capella, Calif., Mrs. Vernon Barnett of Neosho, Mrs. Delmar Watson of Shell Knob, Mrs. Bob Vandergriff of Kansas City and two brothers, Bill Towe of Sacramento Calif, and Joe Towe of Pueblo, Colo.
