Obit For James Truelove Thompson
Headline -
Text James Truelove Thompson died Sunday morning, Feb. 11, 1906, at the home of his father Wm. R. Thompson of Washburn Prarie, of lung trouble, aged 22 years and 2 days.

Trudy, as he was familiarly called, had been in declining health for several months, and had gone to New Mexico to see if that climate would not give him relief. But in vain, health gone, his condition greatly weakened, his father was notified of his changed condition and went after him and returned home just a few days before he passed away. His greatest desire was to get home, as he knew death was near, so that he might die at home.

Rev. Pyke of the M.E. Church, South, conducted funeral services at the Truelove Cemetery Sunday afternoon, before a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends who had known Trudy from childhood.

It is especially had to give up an only son, yet a pleasure to know that they can mingle together in a better world.
