Headline | MRS. ALBERT THOMAS PASSES ON SUNDAY Leaves Husband and Splendid Daughters To Mourn Her Passing |
Text | Mrs. Albert Thomas, another splendid citizen near Jenkins, died at her home last Sunday morning, of influenza and pneumonia. She had only been sick a few days but was stricken severely at the out-break. She was a daughter of Wm. Wiley, an old time and highly respected citizen of Scholten, and was born and reared in that section of the county. Several years ago she married to Albert Thomas who, with five splendid daughters, survive. She was said to be between 40 and 45 years old and also leaves two brothers, Claud and Lloyd Wiley, prominent farmers resident in the northeast part of this county. Funeral services were conducted at the family home Tuesday afternoon, which the remains were interred in the cemetery at Osa, near her home. Mrs. Thomas was an excellent lady and loved by all who knew her. She has lived in that section practically all her life and was a splendid neighbor.
