| Text | Abstract Carl Eugene "Gene" Taggart, 68, of Cassville, died September 11 at Cox Monett Hospital. Mr. Taggart was born April 23, 1938, in Carnegie, Oklahoma, the son of Charlie Carl and Agnes Evelyn Charles Taggart. He graduated with a degree in pharmacy from Southwest Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy. He operated Taggart's Medicine Shop in Cassville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville. He was a former member of Good News Quartet, Lions Club, and Rotary Club. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 15, at the First Baptist Church in Cassville with Rev. John Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Taggart Royal Oak Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, September 14, at the church. |
