Text Frances Almira Swindle, 92, died after a lingering illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hattie Gordan, October 11, at 5:15 a.m., at Galena, Mo. She came to Missouri when a small girl and had lived in Barry and Stone Counties all of her life. She was married to John Swindle of the Corsicana Community in 1875. Her husband preceded her in death in 1930. She is survived by three sons: Archie, Calif.; Ogle, Nev.; Raymond, Idaho; and 5 daughter Mrs. Clara Rhodes, Springfield, Mrs. Gordan Galena; Mrs. Lillian Mason, Yacapi, Calif., Mrs. Eva Wilkinson, Riverside, Calif.; 21 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, also 2 sisters. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Bryan were held from the Wheaton Baptist Church Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with burial in Corsicana Cemetery under the direction of the Koon Funeral Home
