Text | Mrs. Jennie Summey, wife of Grover Summey of Seligman, died July 12, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Lou Griffith in Cassville, age 21 years, 8 months and 15 days. Death was due to typhoid fever and complications of diseases. Rev. J. T. Brattin conducted the funeral services at her mother's residence Monday at 11 o'clock. Pall bearers were James Mitchell, Norman Manley, Emmett Freese, Lee Smith, Earl Mitchell and Aubrey Landis. At the conclusion of the service the remains were tenderly conveyed in the Oak Hill Cemetery where they were laid to rest in that city of the dead. The casket was covered with many beautiful flowers, mute testimonials of the love and esteem in which the departed was held by those who loved her in life and will remember her during the years to come as one whose life as not lived in vain. |
