Mrs. Sumners was born August 8, 1914, in Greenfield, the daughter of William and Lucinda Johnson. She was a foster grandmother. She was married to Wayne Sumners, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Mumford of Fulton, Carolyn Erwin of Mexico, Missouri, and Janet Nagle of Monett; two sisters, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Brad Young. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, April 30, at Peterson Chapel in Aurora. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora under the direction of Peterson Funeral Home of Aurora. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today, April 29, at the funeral home. |
