| Text | Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Union Church in Washburn for Kenneth Wayne Sturgeon, 17 years old, which died as a result of self-in-inflicted wounds Tuesday night of last week in Great Bend, Kansas. The services were conducted by the Rev. Norman Clark and burial was in King’s cemetery in Washburn under direction of the Culver Funeral Home. His mother Leona Sturgeon and father Henry Sturgeon, Walsh, Colo. Research Note: His stone has his name spelled Stergeon.
