Text | Roy A. Stumpff, Cassville, died at 2:35 p.m. Saturday August 3 in South Barry County Hospital where he had been a patient four weeks. Mr. Stumpff was born Nov. 1, 1905, at Cato. He had lived in Bakersfield, Calif. for several years, where he was engaged in welding. He came here seven years ago. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Bakersfield. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cleat Stumpff; a daughter, Mrs. Alice White, Concord, Calif.; two brothers, Bill Stumpff, Jenkins, and Burl Stumpff, Silverton, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Clema Cope, Cassville, and Mrs. Clara Elliott, Bakersfield; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Williamson Chapel in the Valley. Ron Stough officiated. Burial was in the Leann Cemetery, south of Aurora. |
