Corinne Gladys Stumpff, 85, of Cassville, died Thursday, July 22 at Red Rose Inn of Cassville where she had lived for 11 years. Mrs. Stumpff was born December 25, 1913 in Kansas, the daughter of Harry and Vinnie Williams Mefford. She was a member of the Mill Street Church of Christ in Cassville, and was a homemaker. On December 12, 1953, she was united in marriage to Bill Stumpff, who preceded her in death in 1982. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Helm of Deep Water; five step-daughters, Roberta Jenkins of Lapalma, California, Charlene Zinke of Phoenix, Arizona, Ginger Rogers of Osceola; three grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one step-son, Donald Stumpff. Funeral services were held today, July 26, in Fohn Funeral Home with Ronny Cowan conducting the service. Burial was in Clio Cemetery in Jenkins. |
