| Text | WENDELL BOYD STRINGER Thursday, February 24, 2011 Cassville Democrat Wendell Boyd Stringer, 52, of Golden, passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at his home. He was born in Cassville, on Oct. 29, 1958, the son of Aaron C. and Edith D. (Garrett) Stringer, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Emery Towler. Survivors include: three sisters, Marzelle Foster, of Exeter, Luann Towler, of Exeter, and Wyvern England and her husband, Robby, of Exeter; and two brothers, Joseph Dean "J.D." Stringer and Wade Stringer, both of Golden. He lived his entire life in Barry County, growing up in Golden and receiving his education from the Cassville Schools. He worked for Shumaker Tire Company for over 25 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Golden. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Max Towler will conduct the services. Burial will be at Munsey Cemetery, Eagle Rock. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. |
