Abstract: Edith D. Stringer, 82, of Golden, died December 8 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield. Mrs. Stringer was born March 2, 1919, in Eagle Rock, the daughter of Charles Luis and Lula Maye Shrum Garrett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church in Golden. She married Aaron C. Stringer on June 10, 1936, in Mano, and he preceded her in death June 23, 1972. She was preceded in death by one brother, one half-brother, one half-sister, one grandchild, and one great grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 13, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Les Mantonya officiating. Burial will be in Munsey Cemetery in Eagle Rock under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
