Bellview News: Grandma Stribbling died Thursday. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Kennedy at the Baptist Church Friday and burial made in the Dry Valley Cemetery. Grandma was 100 years and 3 months old. Mrs. Stribling died Thursday, Sept 4, 1913, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Farris, three miles north of Monett, her death being due to old age. Mrs. Stribling was born in the year 1812, and at the time of her death was 101 years, 3 months and 11 days old. Funeral services were held at the home Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Luther Carlin. Interment was made in the the Dry Valley Cemetery. Monett Times. |
