Obit For Wanda G. (Hall) Stone

Text Wanda G. Stone, 92, of Seneca, formerly of Wheaton, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, at the Seneca House, Seneca.

She was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Jacket, the daughter of Alford and Pansey (Forgey) Hall. On Jan. 11, 1942, she was united in marriage to Charles L. Stone, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2011. Also preceding her in death were one son, Edward Lee Stone; her parents, Alford and Pansey Hall and five brothers, Darrel Hall, Howard Hall, Wayne Hall, Windle Hall and Dean Hall.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jovita Martin and her husband, Larry, of Joplin; one son, Bob Stone and his wife, Peggy, of Pea Ridge, Ark.; two sisters, Connie Williams, of Cassville, and Peggy Dunlap and her husband, Randy, of Stafford; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; 11 step-great grandchildren; and 13 step great-great grandchildren.

She graduated from White Rock School in Jane. After they sold their farm near Wheaton, she and Charles moved to Seneca in 2002. She was mother and housewife. She was a member of the Seneca Church of Christ.

Funeral services were held Friday in Seneca Church of Christ under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery, Washburn. Contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children's Home.
