| Text | Abstract - Ronald D. Stockton, age 69, of Monett, passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at Cox Monett Hospital. He was born March 21, 1939, in Star City, the son of Orva Stockton and Faye (Ash) Higgs. He was united in marriage to Rosa Brigman in Eureka Springs, AR, July 7, 2004. He was a retired truck driver. He also retired from the National Guard after serving 20 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monett. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Don Stockton, two sons, Mark and Matt Stockton and one grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home with Rev. Russ Neill officiating. Burial was at Sparks Cemetery near Butterfield. Arrangements were under the care of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. |
